From June 2021 to March 2022, Picturecopy, an Austrian collective of artists, exhibited their works within our Art at the Hub program. The opening event took place on September 17, 2021 and featured educational psychologist Christiane Spiel as well as Art Brut expert Johann Feilacher, who is also the director of the Museum Gugging.

With their work, the three artists forming the collective “Picturecopy” are highlighting children’s creative potential and the power of expression that lies within this creativity.

The large scale oil paintings use elements from children’s drawings to form new graphic compositions and put these elements into new narrative contexts. A bold and diverse use of colors is enhancing this effect.
