The talk by Chris Baker will take place at the Complexity Science Hub Vienna in Room 201.

Christopher Baker, visitor at the Hub from May 30th to June 6th, is a research fellow at the University of Queensland. He has a background in applied mathematics, which he has used to tackle environmental management issues. He has collaborated widely across the world, working on problems ranging from improving methods to solve optimisation problems, to helping environmental managers make on-ground decisions. By taking a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to mathematics, he hopes to make a continued impact in environmental management, while also making contributions to other aspects of biological management, such as disease control.
