For his final presentation, CSH intern Antoine Combret-Renouard will discuss the results of his research project that he was working on for the last few months. The talk will take place on Wednesday, July 27 at 3pm.
Title: A toy-model for wealth exchange within the framework of sampling-space reducing processes: What can we learn?
Abstract:
In this talk, I will present the framework of sampling-space reducing (SSR) processes and try to use it to study a toy-model of wealth exchange. The framework of SSR processes was initially developed by B. Corominas-Mutra, R. Hanel and S. Thurner in order to study history-dependent processes. Trying to fit an existing toy-model within this particular SSR framework will help us learn about the model, but also the framework itself.
