CSH’s Faculty member Vittorio Loreto gives a talk [in Italian] within the “Meet the Media Guru Around Mobility” framework of the “Meet Digital Culture Center” in Milano/Italy.
The entrance is free, registration required.
Vittorio’s speech addresses the debate on the future of modern cities. The pandemic has pushed many inhabitants out of cities in favor of safer and less crowded areas and poses a real challenge to authorities both in terms of urban planning and political decisions. It is necessary to rethink cities, adapting infrastructures and dynamics to the new normal, and to find new tools that allow a realistic prediction of how a change in current conditions will affect and modify the future scenario.
To this end, Vittorio presents the What-if platform, which provides users with tools to assess the state of urban and interurban spaces and conceive new solutions and scenarios.
