Wayt is a science journalist, book editor, and editorial consultant with 30 years of experience reporting, writing, editing, and publishing on topics in science, engineering, and technology. He has long worked for Scientific American and also wrote for The Economist, Nature, Discover, IEEE Spectrum, and others, work for which he won the AAAS and Wistar Science Journalism Awards.
During his stay at the Hub, Wayt will work on a project to identify, evaluate, and explain the feedback mechanisms, interdependencies, and other complex phenomena involved in climate change, the global energy transition, and the economic and geopolitical factors that influence these shifts.
