February 1: Book presentation of “Visions for Complexity”
At our opening conference in May last year, leading complexity scientists from all over the globe shared their vision about the frontiers of the science of complex systems, where complexity science will most likely be in a decade from now, and in what ways it can contribute to address some of the challenges that our societies and the planet are facing. Their visions have been collected and are published in the book “43 Visions for Complexity”. This book was presented on February 1, 2017, at 6 pm at the Hub with remarks by Dirk Helbing, ETH Zurich, on the “Future of Democracy” and an exhibit of selected works from Olaf Osten, the artist who designed the book.
