Disentangling the CSH networks

Nov 30, 2021

New visualizations show our links and networks

1)  Teaming up the Hub

Who is working with whom at the CSH? What research fields exist? Who is leading which team, who is a contributor to a subject?

If you ever wondered—then we have a new tool for you!

Developed by our visualization expert Liuhuaying Yang (depicted on top of this page), the colorful interactive visualization lets users explore a multitude of scientific and thematic links at the Hub. Check it out, play around—have fun and hopefully many insights.

New landing page for visuals

Liuhuaying also redesigned the landing page for the CSH visualizations.

To see the changes, click the VISUALS button on top of the CSH page—or follow this link.

2) CSH affiliations around the world

A way larger visualization of all sorts of Hub affiliations was developed by Wolfgang Knecht.

The world-spanning interactive networks graphic includes information on the different CSH faculties, the institutional ties of all scientists affiliated to the Hub, or co-operations in publications.

The map is huge, the map is complex—take some time to grasp it in all its depth.
